Improving our Watersheds in partnership with you!

Support for local landowners

The LCRWC works to help our public, private, and tribal landowners by providing a variety of no-cost, confidential technical support activities to help share information and provide guidance for projects or challenges on the ground. We provide support for our local landowners and communities – get in touch to see how we can help.

All of our services and programs are offered free of charge to expand local stewardship and care for our place.

  • Voluntary participation – You decide if and how to participate.

  • Technical assistance – The Small Grant Team can connect you to expertise in design, permitting, and project planning.

  • Funding support – We help review grant applications and set you up for success.

  • Customized approach – Projects are tailored to fit your land management goals and local priorities.

Small Grant Program

The Oregon Watershed Enhancement Board has a competitive Small Grants Program available to the residents of Columbia County. Landowners can apply directly or work in partnership with the Lower Columbia River Watershed Council to apply for eligible grants. The grants can cover 75% of the project costs, up to $15,000, for on-the-ground restoration projects that are responsive to local priorities.
